Hello!
Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Hannah, a junior public relations major at Kent State University. As you can probably guess, I love animals.
I’ve always wanted to start a blog but never seemed to stick with it ontop of my busy schedule. I began this blog to help inform others about current issues in the animal world. Animals often get pushed aside when compared to other, more popular, humanity and social issues such as disease, education and gender equality. I plan to make this blog level the playing field, giving a voice to those who can’t speak: animals. I plan to fill this site with informative, useful information for the average person to take and use in their daily lives to help protect animals all around the world. From protecting your own pets to protecting ones across the planet, I hope to make a difference in the lives of all creatures.
A little about me: I grew up in a small town on the east side of Cleveland. Raised in a family of all-girls, two sisters and my mom, I learned how to be independent, follow my passion and never give up. After leaving for college, I’ve held various internships in the nonprofit, agency and college setting, currently holding a position at Goodyear Headquarters in Akron, Ohio. During my free weekends, I often visit local animal shelters, catch up on homework or spend time with friends. I’ve always had a strong passion for animals and even began my journey in PR specifically to work in a nonprofit that advocates for animal rights. Some personal goals of mine are to travel to all 50 states and to foster 25 animals in my lifetime. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, comments or suggestions!
